Project Summary
PoLance is a gamified rehabilitation platform targeting posture and balance. The platform uses a lightweight and easy to transport pressure mat and PC-based software which lends itself to both clinic and home-based rehabilitation. Working with HIEM and CHEATA this project will understand the commercialisation potential through the development of a commercialisation strategy and routes to NHS adoption.
This work aims to benefit stroke patients and those at risk of falls by developing a platform to support patients in improving their postural stability.
