Lucas is a biomedical engineer and Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Nottingham, wokring at the intersection of engineering, computing and health. His research interests are in human movement analysis and intention recognition, utilising a range of sensor-based wearable technologies including inertial sensors, EMG, and motion capture, and combining this with machine learning algorithms that are human-centred.
