Dr Michelle Poland is Research Impact and Engagement Manager at Nottingham Trent University, where she supports researchers across the institution to ensure their work delivers meaningful real‑world benefits. Her role involves guiding research teams in identifying, planning, evidencing and communicating impact, which includes applied health, wellbeing and rehabilitation research.
Michelle coordinated the original grant application and is now supporting the strategic direction of the EMERGE program in particular ensuring evaluative best practice is embedded throughout.
