EMERGE RehabTech will fund rehabtech development at different stages of maturity, with no specific requirement for projects to meet set criteria around Technology Readiness Level (TRL).
Our funding is for projects that build on existing research and are ready to deliver impact. We therefore expect proof-of-concept to be in place before seeking EMERGE RehabTech funding, e.g. an initial prototype.
We normally expect to see proposals at TRL 4 and above, with an initial prototype in place.
